How we work

In order to give our customers the very best service, we will sometimes partner with other locally owned companies for the following:

Septic Installations, Septic Inspections, Septic System Supplies, and Plumbing Needs.

The companies that we work with, like us, are highly experienced in their fields and we trust the quality of their work.

If you would like more information about any of these options, please contact us. Our staff is always here and ready to help.

Preparing for your service

When it’s time to empty your septic tank, please call us or use our appointment request form. Before we arrive, you’ll need to prepare your septic lids, by ensuring they are clear and uncovered and that the lids can be removed easily.

Septic system tips

  • a typical level is 6 to 8 inches from the top of the tank
  • rinse your filter every 6 to 12 months (if you fail to do this, the system can become clogged and slow or stop the flow to the septic bed)
  • never drive over or park on your septic bed
  • pump the tank every 2 to 3 years for a family or household of 4 (regular use)

First signs of a back-up

  • toilet draining slow
  • bubbling after flushing
  • smell around the septic system

Locating your tank

In your basement or crawl space locate the 4-inch black pipe that exits your house – this leads to your tank. Using a metal rod, poke into the ground starting 9-10 ft from where it exits the house until you locate the tank. Poke an outline of your tank. At each end there will be a lid, approximately 24 inches square or circular.

Replacement lids

We sell replacement cement septic tank lids. If you require one or more lids, please contact us. You will be able to pick them up from our office when they come in.
